A girl discovers her grandfather reading his “Beauty Book”, a scrapbook where he keeps mementos of the most beautiful and meaningful moments of his life. At the end of telling her the stories therein he makes a sketch of her and puts it in the Beauty Book too!
But the girl is confused. “Why would he make a picture of me, just reading his book? What’s so beautiful about that?” She only answers that question much later in life, when she creates her own Beauty Book, and shares it with her own daughter…
